New Horizon Photography is based out of Houston, TX but travels around the world looking for the perfect mixture of beauty and art. David began shooting photography after graduating from a liberal arts college in the Midwest focusing on basic studio and outdoor photography. His work was well recognized and he was hired to shoot casting photos for a national restaurant chain’s annual swimsuit calendar. With over 3800 photos submitted by 400 photographers, two of David’s photos made the final 18 and quickly gave him a name as a rising talent in the glamour photography world. Unwilling to make a full-time commitment to photography for fear the business would corrupt the artistry, he instead accepted an apprenticeship with world renowned photographer James Hincok and furthered his knowledge of the art of lighting for glamour and fashion while continuing to take select assignments. To date, he has shot fourteen models who have gone on to appear in national magazines as well as countless other models who have appeared in local publications and on the web. He has won numerous awards for his work including the 2003 National Photography World - Rising Star award.
Today, David travels around the world on a variety of business endeavors and takes assignments on a select basis based upon schedules and availability. Rates will vary per assignment but generally start at $1500 per day plus travel when he is available. Please inquire for custom assignments. Limited TFP shoots are available for the right clients. |
